The water flows through this aquifer at an astounding rate.  (No offense, but Portland&amp;#39;s water is nearly undrinkable--tastes awful.  San Francisco water isn&amp;#39;t much better.)  Many people drink this water in bottles from grocery stores, taken straight from the tap in Spokane or Coeurd&amp;#39;Alene, ID.
