While I will miss the Clemson/Boston College football game, the opportunity to listen to The Police could not be missed. The Police's 1983 album Synchronicity is on my official "If I was on a Desert Island What Albums would I Want to Have" list. We have not been to a concert in ten years or so. I recently embarrassed myself when I told a friend that I would need to bring a lighter to raise up during the concert. My buddy was like, "Dude, no one uses lighters now, they all raise up their cell phones." It is fun getting old.
One of my favorite songs from the album is the classic "Synchronicity II." The song, which refers to Carl Jung's theory of Synchronicity, is about a husband whose home, work life, and environment are terrible and depressing. Carl Jung believed there was a large pattern to life, that it wasn't just chaos.
If Synchronicity could be made into an algorithm, I believe Google would have already patented it. Google's mission is to take the chaos out of the Internet, find the relevant patterns, and monetize it. So, what are some search patterns related to our water woes? You be the judge whether these water search terms are related.

Some observations from the above graphs:
- When will "Drought" beat out "obesity"?
- "Atlanta Water" overtook the term "Atlanta Braves" for the first time ever this year.
The Police will be donating a portion of ticket revenues tonight to WaterAid.
"In Western societies, the idea of not having clean and plentiful water is unthinkable. And yet there are millions of people who are suffering and dying from disease because they lack access to this most basic resource. We are proud to support WaterAid in their mission to improve access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene education in the world's poorest countries. We hope the funds and awareness raised during the tour will help to shine a light on WaterAid's efforts to bring help to millions of people in need." - The Police
