It seems South Carolina is still posturing for a battle with NC. The S.C. Senate's Interstate Cooperation Committee met Wednesday to urge Attorney General Henry McMaster on Wednesday to move forward with a lawsuit challenging the right of Concord and Kannapolis to pump water from the Catawba River. See previous blog post. This committee apparently has not met in years, which is hard for me to understand. The lawsuit would go before the U.S. Supreme Court, which handles interstate disputes.
